In the third quarter of 2021, fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Egypt displayed notable trends on the Android platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the performance metrics for the top five apps in this category: KFC Egypt - Order Food Online, McDonald's, Hardee's Egypt - Order Online, McDelivery Egypt, and Zack's.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, starting from 34K in late June and peaking at around 73K by the end of September. The app also saw a steady increase in weekly active users, rising from approximately 165K to nearly 300K over the quarter.

McDonald's displayed a more moderate trend in weekly downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 16K and 35K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 220K to 235K mark.

Hardee's Egypt - Order Online showed a consistent but lower download rate, ranging from 3.8K to 9.4K weekly downloads. The app's weekly active users saw a gradual increase, moving from 8.6K in late June to 8.7K by the end of September.

Finally, Zack's experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 5.6K in late August before settling at around 3.9K by the end of September. Active users also increased, moving from 8.5K to approximately 10.1K during the same period.
